Welcome to the Project Rescue Foundation work - Suraksha.
Here we focus on Residential care for children, both boys and girls. Helping them build new lives and futures by being able to continue their education and stay in school.
A Residential Program for children separately for boys and girls. All of them have been enrolled in regular schools in the city. They are thriving studying, and learning all kinds of skills. For those requiring additional or remedial instruction this too is arranged.
The Community program in the Red Light District is doing well. A doctor comes in twice a week, to provide medical interventions required for secondary infections, Careful charts for each person are maintained carefully. She is ably assisted with a social worker. Here ladies come in for group counselling and skills learning sessions as well as individual sessions with the social worker.
The Social workers also make weekly visits to the homes of the women as well. This helps in building relationships as well as ensuring that skills learned in the sessions translate to real life outside
Home of Pune, a Project of Project Rescue Foundation welcomes you to their Residential Program. This facility offers hope of Restoration & Re integration to young teens. Sent to the facility by the CWC, these young girls, have a new chance to make their dreams for the future come through. All of them have an opportunity to complete their education via the NIOS, and then learn various vocation skills to help them to live life on their own.
The care givers, social workers and counsellor work actively to net work with sympathetic employers and educators to provide the necessary education and work opportunities.
The Community Project in Pune's Red Light Area has now taken a more definite look with a building renovated to provide education for children otherwise not in school, and vocational skills learning opportunities for women. Baking, cooking, sewing, computer skills training, block printing are some of the activities that will soon be initiated.
Individual skills building such as social skills, communication, health & hygiene, activities of daily living and counselling to promote emotional & psychological health.
A medical unit, manned by doctors and nursing staff will ensure that the children &women in the area have easy access to medical care. They will receive all basic medical help free of cost.
A significant focus will be on promoting Adult Literacy classes. We believe that this will work towards helping women feel empowered and independent.

Life Center Academy, Jaipur
Life Center Academy is a co-education school for children from LKG to 5th standard. All the students are served a nutritious mid-day meal and their health and development is monitored regularly. 55 students are all from disadvantaged sections of society and are all first-generation learners.
Project HOPE & FREEDOM - Changing a village, Changing Lives, Empowering the Next Generation. Here the focus includes a school for children & the creation of a new future. for women who were previously trafficked and sexually exploited. Empowering the next generation with new alternatives of earning a livelihood.
Vocational skills learning for women- sewing, making coasters, aprons, bags, jewellery making, making pickles and masala powders.
Income generation project- currently launched- Dairy Farming
